Here is a revised MS football weights schedule. We added a few days of weights the last week of May. Also make sure to attend the FREE physical on May 21st at the middle school, you don't want to miss out on this opportunity. We have also attached the Remind App MS football

Colter Oldham has broken his own shot put record three times this season. His latest throw was 59-9.5.


Congratulations to Alyssa Edgington for setting two new school records. She broke the long jump record for the second time in two weeks and set a new pole vault record at the Lakin Track Meet.



Congrats to these LHS seniors who graduated from GCCC on Friday. Allisa Mead graduated with an associates of science degree. Jayce Bless, Bode McCormick, and Jaydn Main graduated with their carpentry certificate. Bode and Jaydn are not pictured. What an accomplishment!

LHS Baseball - Monday's home games vs Stanton County have been canceled

Congrats to Alli Mead. She is the 2024 recipient of the Invenergy STEM Scholarship. She plans to attend Washburn University in the fall and major in Criminal Justice/CSI. Thank you to Chad Ramirez for coming to LHS to present the scholarship to Alli.


Congrats to Maggie Gannett and Trevor Ploeger. They are the 2024 recipients of the Pioneer Communications scholarship. Trevor received a $500 scholarship and Maggie received a $2000 scholarship. Thank you to Hattie Rebel for coming to LHS to present the scholarships.


Today is National Lunch Hero Day and we can't thank all these Ladies enough. They go above and beyond to provide good meals for our students and make lunch fun. Help us thank these ladies for all their hard work.



Spring Fling was an absolute blast for these kids today especially the Slip N' Slide. Thanks to all who helped put it together. Big Shoutout to Ricki Mead for all her hard work.





After a State Forensics send-off, Spring Fling games commenced. Activities included water balloon dodgeball, movies, bowling (thanks to Judy Anderson), slip n slide, wiffle ball, and yard games.






LHS 2024 Spring Fling Talent Show had some awesome talent. The winners, Moral Compass, performed Buddy Holly and ended the show with Enter Sandman.









Congratulations to Kenzi Wilson. She was selected as the Kansas Governor's Scholar for Lakin High School. The Governor’s Scholars Program recognizes outstanding graduating seniors who finish in the top one percent of their high school graduating class.
