Exploratory Ag kids were able to make plastic today from corn and a few other ingredients. They changed some of the quantities of the ingredients to see how it changed the properties of the plastic. They are discovering the science in agriculture in a fun way.

Lady Bronc Volleyball dominated tonight, going 6-0 overall! We also supported our teammate Emani in our new Team Emani shirts! We will be hosting a fundraiser for Team Emani on September 22! Our annual Pink Night will be a Pink & Green Night to show our support for Emani! 💜

Thank you Rachel Pospisil for visiting LGS on Friday and sharing your love for music. Rachel graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. She speaks multiple languages and plays the violin, piano, ukulele, and other instruments. They sang songs in 5 different languages! 🎶

Lakin XC had a fantastic season opener at Great Bend yesterday! Despite the heat, we came away with four medalists on the day. Miles Delgado (11th) and Gavin Dyas (23rd) both medaled out of 151 runners. Kate Miller broke into the top five, taking 5th, and Jeci Mead made an impressive freshman debut, finishing 13th out of 126 runners.
We are so proud of all our runners—this was a prestigious first meet with 21 schools participating. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Go Broncs!
