We had an amazing day at the 2nd Annual Lakin JAG-K Career Fair! Our students had the opportunity to connect with so many incredible local businesses, learn about different career paths, and gain valuable insight into their futures. They are the 2026 recipients of the Maggie Olson Memorial Scholarship. 👏

This fall, Ariana plans to attend Southwest Oklahoma State University, and Jordan plans to attend the University of Kansas. Both will be majoring in nursing.

Congratulations to our March Students of the Month! We want to recognize 6th grader McCoy Hendricks, 7th grader Luke Miller, and 8th grader Dylan Wozencraft for earning March Student of the Month honors. Join us for a special morning of performance and connection!
The Lakin High School Forensics Team will be performing their competition pieces at the Kearny County Senior Center on April 10th at 10:00 AM.
Enjoy a variety of student performances such as Poetry, Prose, POI, Duet Acting, Serious Solo Acting, and Improvised Duet Acting. There will be some fun audience participation involved.
We are excited to share this meaningful intergenerational experience with our community members and look forward to seeing you there!
