We worked really hard in Physics today!
Jv was in Elkhart today and just keep amazing me. They show up each and every tournament and keep improving. Kade, Blake and Warren didn't place but the 3 of them don't complain and keep working harder and harder. We did however have 1 placer. In just his second tournament, Brennan Bless finished top 10 once again. Pretty cool he's only been golfing for a week and has 2 great results. Keep up the good work fellas!!!!!!

SURPRISE!!! Wedding shower and college graduation for Miss Medrano. Big thanks to Mary Jo Wilkison for sponsoring today's lunch. Huge s/o to Rachel Miller for organizing all the LHS staff lunches this year.
Horticulture class is partnering with Kearny County Farm Bureau to lay pavers down in their courtyard so we can learn some landscape techniques.
In Calculus, we learned about finding the average value with a graph.

Congratulations to Sarah Peters and Thomas Peters! They are the 2025 recipients of theTom Wright Jr Memorial Scholarship. Sarah plans to attend Kansas State University in the fall and major in architecture. Thomas plans to attend Garden City Community College in the fall and major in Crop Production.

LHS Track and Field competed in the Scott City Relays today. The kids competed well. The boys team finished 2nd place behind Scott City and the girls finished 3rd closely behind Cimarron and Colby. Click the link for complete meet results.

Varsity golf was in action today in Ulysses. Wasn't our best day as a team but kids still made improvements. Thomas Peters shot a career best for 9 holes and Noah Garcia finished in the top 5 for a 4th straight tourney finishing 2nd place. We will be back in action Friday in Scott City!!!!!
Jv kids played in Syracuse today. All kids played well and are continuing to work hard. We had one placer. Brennen Bless in his first tournament finished top 10 with an 8th place finish. Kids are back in action Thursday in Elkhart
