FFA Week Fun! We had an FFA emblem hunt in the school and the two students who found the most emblems were Sapphire with 55 & Jarrod with 53! They each got to choose a teacher to pie in the face. Lucky winners were Principal Heydman and Ms Guevara, our Spanish teacher. Thank you for being such good sports and supporting FFA!! 💙💛 #ksffa

Big shoutout to these 6 JAG-K students that competed at the Regional Career Development Conference at Barton County Community College. Congrats to Kade Hartman on placing 5th for prepared speaking and Warren George, Cash Douglas and Remey Perez for placing 4th for Creative Decision Making!

Congratulations to the Spring Dual Credit Scholarship recipients! Funds from this scholarship are used to help cover the cost of classes students are currently taking while still in high school. We are proud of your commitment to furthering your education and investing in your future. 🎓👏

Lakin 8th, 10th, and 11th graders had the opportunity to participate in Reality U yesterday. Reality U is an interactive simulation that helps students gain crucial financial literacy skills and understand the importance of education in shaping their financial future. Students gained valuable insight into what lies ahead in the “real world” — and had fun while doing it!

A big shout-out to Deerfield High School for hosting , Mr. Calkins for driving the bus, and to all the volunteers that helped make this great event happen.

For FFA week we had another'Back in My Day' coffee talk at Wagon Wheel before school started. We enjoy this a lot and want to thank the community for taking time to share their stories with us. Tomorrow is Drive Your Tractor to School day. 💙💛

LHS Forensics places 3rd at Hodgeman County High School Invitational, bringing home hardware for the third week in a row. This was by far the toughest tournament yet this year, and I couldn't be any prouder of this group!
