Just a reminder we will have school tomorrow, April 21st.
It was a long day for Lakin Baseball but varsity came away the sweep, 11-7 and 11-4 improving to 7-1. JV battled but came up short. Broncs will be back in action Monday at Sublette!
Super proud of these 3 kids right here. They show up each and every day to golf practice and work hard. Today in Leoti, competing in just their second tournament, all 3 of them showed improvement! They will be back in action next Tuesday in Syracuse and Thursday in Elkhart!!!!!
5th Grade American Revolution Wax Museum was a hit! Thanks to everyone who came out!
LMS Track and Field will travel to Wichita County today. Field events start at 1:00. The 3200 M will begin at 1:30.
We got to celebrate Marieke Vanderknaap at Senior Night Swim this week in Garden City. Big thanks to Holcomb HS and Coach Davis for providing such a memorable experience for Marieke and the rest of our girls.

Huge shoutout to the Lady Broncs for getting the win against Elkhart. 🥎💪 The team came out strong, played with heart, and brought home two well-earned victories. Moriah Ortiz with a HOMERUN in the 1st game. JV also came away with a Victory. Way to go! #getBETTER
Animal Science kids worked on learning the female anatomy of pregnant bovine, sheep and swine uterus's by dissecting them today! They did a great job!

Lakin Baseball gets the sweep against Elkhart, 6-1 and 7-0 in the home opener. Great way to honor Coach Davidson with the dedication of Steve Davidson Field and the retirement of his number. S/O to Bret Hendrix for helping putting it together and D-Bach Metal for the sign.
It was a very tough day for the boys. We only had 1 placer. Noah Garcia placed 2nd earning him three straight top 5 finishes. Our boys are learning and improving each day. On to Ulysses next Tuesday!!!!
The plants in the greenhouse are growing fast! We will have information out soon about Spring Sales!
We are starting to calculate the volume of unusual shapes in Calculus.
Also, we cut honeycomb balls to get good visuals on unusual shapes revolving around an axis.
We built Gumball Slides in Geometry!
