6 brave Lady Bronc VB girls dressed up for a costume contest today, and the winner was ..... the Gorilla!!! 🦍 Runner up was the Ostrich! We played some fun games and ate some great snacks! Thanks to all who came and all who helped!

Don't miss the send-off for the high school boys' cross country team and the individual qualifiers for the girls' team tomorrow Oct 31st! The event will begin at 8:00 AM at the high school, followed by the middle school and grade school. After walking through the schools, the team will drive up and down main street. Let's come out to celebrate and give these Broncs a warm send-off for their great achievements!

They will return in the spring to share more information about programs that sparked our students’ interest. Congrats to Annabelle Jaeger for winning our popcorn 🍿 fundraiser contest! She had the most sales and worked hard to raise money for Lakin Middle School! She was rewarded with $100! Way to go Annabelle! 💰
Lakin Bronc Activities - Tuesday, October 28th: HS Scholars Bowl at Lakin - 4:00 pm
Vacancy on LRC Board - The Lakin USD #215 Board of Education is required by law to name four of the five members of the Lakin Recreation Commission Board.
Lakin XC had another big day this past Saturday. The boys' team will be heading to state for the third consecutive year after finishing as runner-up at Regionals, just 2 points shy of the regional champion. Four boys from Lakin placed in the top 20, with Zael Bermudez leading the way as the runner-up in the race! The girls' team came very close to qualifying as well but missed it by one placement, which was disappointing, but they have had such fantastic year!! However, both Kate and Emma Miller will be representing Lakin at state as individual qualifiers, with Kate finishing 5th and Emma 10th. Both the boys and girls teams will compete at Rim Rock this Saturday, and there will be a state send-off on Friday morning. Let’s go, Broncs!
