Community Coffee Connections December 20th @ Daylight Donuts. 8:10-9:10. Come visit with USD 215 Admin about school happenings and burning questions that you have. Each time we've met our group has grown larger and larger. Looking forward to visiting with everyone who show's up and rubbing elbows with the donut shop guys! Rumor has it, there will be some of Mrs. Groth's famous cinnamon rolls there for all to enjoy.

Shout out to Kearny County Hospital….thanks you for giving the LHS A&P students a tour of the facilities and talking to them about the many career opportunities in the medical field. Lakin is lucky to have such an amazing facility and staff.

LMS Staff of the Month: Juan Neri. This is Juan's 1st Year at LMS. He has started a brand new Graphic Design Class and has brought a ton of knowledge to our students that they can carry on into future careers. He has been an asset to LMS and are excited to have him. #getBETTER
LMS Students of the Month: Kate Miller and Leo Portillo. These students have been positive role models for their peers and are always lending a helping hand. #getBETTER
Employee of the Month: Mitch Watson. Mitch teaches English at LHS. Mitch continues to be an asset to LHS by filling in where needed, going above and beyond, building relationships with students, and being fun and creative. We are lucky to have him. #getBETTER
LHS Students of the Month: Tyelor Holloway and Andralyn Lancaster. These students have shown great Leadership Skills, Integrity, and Kindness throughout our school. These students are willing to help out when needed and go above and beyond. #getBETTER
Lakin High School had the opportunity to host Coach Mark Potter and his wife. Coach Potter and his wife spoke to our students about the importance of Mental Health Awareness and not being afraid to ask for help. A Very important message for our students and staff. #getBETTER
