Congratulations to Erin Urie! Erin has been selected as the Lakin Alumni Association 2023 Scholarship Awardee. Erin is the daughter of Tim Urie and Valerie Guerrero. Her step father is Sid Guerrero and her grandparents are Norman and Catherine Urie.

Prom sponsors work all year to organize, fund raise, decorate and run the night. Thanks to these three and several others for making it such a special night for our students 💜💛

These girls right here got to experience prom from a different perspective last night. Not knowing what it was or what all the hype was about, they got to go look around and then watch part of the promenade. They are all excited to attend next year.. Mission accomplished!

THANK YOU to the mystery couple who paid for our meal at Tequilas tonight!! It was such a fun and memorable experience for not only these ESL students, but for the teachers as well! What a kind and generous gesture and we greatly appreciate you! 💜💛

Dear Lakin Middle School Parents and Guardians,
We were made aware of a threat towards some specific students at Lakin Middle School today. Their parents have been contacted. We take any threat very seriously and there is an ongoing investigation. Everyone is safe. I understand your concern and appreciate your support as we work through this investigation and take efforts to maintain the safety of all students.
Thanks
The Junior class having a little fun while decorating for Prom tomorrow. Big thanks to Mrs. Wright and all the students who have been working hard today to get ready for tomorrow's big event. #getBETTER

Another Bronc Creation getting ready for The Stampede in a couple of weeks. How cool is it that we don't have to hire these projects out anymore? Pretty neat to see our own students doing the work in Graphic Design. #getBETTER

Congrats to Taegan Bachman on receiving the KSHSAA Governor's Scholarship. Taegan will be recognized at Washburn University in Topeka in May. #getBETTER
