Juicing day for Wellness class! Students have learned the health benefits of juicing as well as the healing testimony from guest speaker Breanna Massoth. Today they got to try out a few recipes for themselves. Some were fans, other not so much.

Congrats to Halle Woodrow! She is the recipient of the Bill Sharpe Scholarship for Educators. She plans to attend Garden City Community College in the fall and major in elementary education.

Congratulations to Keeden Sisco-Pianalto!! He is the 2025 recipient of the Harold J. Waldrum Fine Arts Scholarship. He plans to attend Kansas State University in the fall and major in music.


Animal Science students have been creating digestion murals of ruminants, monogastrics, and avian systems. We spent a week diving into the digestive systems of cattle, goats, sheep, swine, horses, and chickens.

Thank you to K-State rep, Aneth Morales. She shared a presentation about K-State during advisory today. In addition to the presentation she hosted a help session for all admitted seniors called "Cookies with Cats." She shared helpful enrollment information and delicious cookies.

In Geometry, we did some origami for the beginning of Special Right Triangles.


In Algebra 2, we used M&Ms to illustrate exponential growth and decay.


We use Calculus in Related Rates. Here we used Geometry and Algebra (and suckers) to show why it works.


We made a wave machine in Physics.

Congrats to Chris Ortiz, Gabe Cox, Eric Munson, Austin Ritsema, Isaac Jaquez-Garcia, Marieke VanDerKnaap, and Emma Beltran! They are the 2025 recipients of the Budget Shop Christian Scholarship. Before applying for this scholarship students must volunteer at least 12 hours and be active in their church.
