8 to Great classes reviewed High-Ways 1-4 today. The students made posters about their High-Ways and presented them to the class.
Mitosis/Meiosis Escape Room in biology @ LHS
Congrats to Ivy Davis and Kinzie Berning-Lohman-Fuller! They were recognized for scholarships they are receiving at the FHSU Student Recognition Program. Ivy will be majoring in radiology tech and Kinzie will be majoring in elementary education. Way to go girls!!

HS vocal had a busy few days this week but did amazing in the process!
At league in Sublette on Wednesday, the following students performed solos and they ALL received a 1 rating (the highest):
Miley Roth
Paige Webb
Camden Bergkamp
Zael Bermudez
The full choir sang together very well and received a 2 rating!
Paige Webb then headed to Wichita for state honor choir which she qualified for with her audition in December!
After 2 days of rehearsals, they put on an incredible performance this morning. To be named as one of the best in the state is no small accomplishment!!
Lakin was represented very well this week!

LMS Quiz Bowl took 1st place at Cimarron and 2nd place at our home meet on Monday. We will be competing for the HPL championship next week at Wichita Co.
Other Results: Ulysses 3rd, SWH 3rd; Sublette 2nd and Stanton Co 2nd, Elkhart did not place.
In Algebra 2, we used M&Ms to illustrate exponential growth and decay.
