HOCO 2020 will be here before we know it!! The Homecoming Parade was such an awesome way to kick off HOCO week last year, let's make it even better this year!! Please see the information below.
Please join us for the Lakin Homecoming Parade on September 20! It will begin at 6:00 pm. Due to COVID, the district will make a final decision whether the parade will happen or not on September 14. If we DO get to have the parade, then please consider things like masks and social distancing on floats. So, for example, having two trailers of football players instead of one trailer so social distancing can be achieved if masks aren't going to be worn. Also, there will NOT be a pep rally at the end. The theme is "Rail the Railroaders". We welcome all entries from near and far! Possible categories include: floats, antique vehicles, tractors, combines, semi-trucks, motorcycles and 4-wheelers, horses and horse and buggy combinations, miscellaneous category. Prizes will be awarded to the best in each category.
