Reminder: HS/MS fall sports pictures (Lifetouch) will be Monday from 12:00-3:00 PM in the MS gym. MS pictures were originally scheduled for the 25th, but have been moved due to the new start date for school. See link to order.

LGS Families and Lakin community,
Please come Monday afternoon or Monday evening to LGS to leave an encouraging message for our children on the sidewalk! Please do this on all of the sidewalks around the building as we have seven doors that we are now using for entrance to the building for students. The seven doors all have numbers on them.
We will have chalk available for you to use up by the front doors. We just ask that if you use our chalk that you make sure your hands are sanitized to help us prevent germ spreading. You may also bring your own chalk.
Please remember to practice social distancing!

Due to the uncertainty regarding school / activities right now, we have decided to move fall senior night for FB, CC, GG and VB to the September 11 home FB game vs Stratford, TX. This way we can at least recognize those seniors in case we get shut down. Hopefully we will be in school all year and can recognize the other senior athletes for their respective sports during their season. More info regarding specifics will be communicated with athletes, parents and coaches.

LMS students and parents. The BOE adopted the reopening plan last night. Please notify me ASAP if you intend to enroll your kid remotely or in the hybrid model. We will need to have a conversation with respect to assurances and expectations if not full time on campus. Thanks
