Congratulations to Broncs head boys basketball coach Nate Schmitt on being nominated for Sports in Kansas 3A Boys Basketball Coach of the Year! The Broncs posted their first 20+ win season since 2002, and just the 4th in school history, ending their season at 21-2.

Maintenance completed the LED light conversion in the LGS Gym! 120 fluorescent lights and ballasts were swapped out with LED tubes to help become more energy efficient.

The five seniors from the girls basketball team gather around Bret Hendrix for an interview after the last regular season game two weeks ago, a loss to the Hugoton Eagles. Hendrix runs lakinsports.com, providing game coverage via the internet.

Activities Week at a Glance
Broncs fall to Hugoton 59-54 in the sub state finals. Finished the year 21-2 with our only losses being to Hugoton. Remarkable season from an incredible group of young men. Extremely proud of this group!
