Please join us for the Lakin Homecoming Parade on September 26! It will begin at 6:00 pm. The theme is Battle for the Golden Saddle. We welcome all entries from near and far! Possible categories include: floats, antique vehicles, tractors, combines, semi-trucks, motorcycles and 4-wheelers, horses and horse and buggy combinations, miscellaneous category.

Hugoton is always a big meet, so we’re proud of how well Lakin competed. Boys and girls each took 5th as a team. 3 boys medaled and 2 girls did. Several PRs were earned.

Personal Finance class earned a Fun Friday after bell work today. They were introduced to pickle ball. Lots of laughter and smiles.
Lakin Grade School is in need of a temporary paraprofessional to work from October 11 through November 19th. Pay rate is $14.76 per hour.
