The LMS Quiz Bowl season is underway. We had a busy week competing at Ulysses, Southwestern Heights, and Wichita County. We continue to get better and we capped off the week with a 3rd place finish. Team one went 7-1 in pool play making the finals to take 3rd.
Big thanks to our parents for another great team dinner. Congrats to Eric and Adrik for winning this week’s D Bach Metal POW award.

Lakin FFA is competing in Ag Mechanics today in Garden City. Students participated in a team activity, tool ID, electrical components, and a written exam.
Congratulations to Servando Gonzalez on surpassing 1,000 career points in a come from behind against a tough Scott City team, finishing with a game high 27. The Broncs hit 12 second half threes and improve to 14-2 on the season.
HS BB went 1-4 tonight at Scott City. Varsity boys picked up the win with an outstanding second half performance. The Broncs are back in action on Friday at Elkhart.
