Lakin Middle School is proud to honor our principal, Cody Calkins during American Education Week! This week, we celebrate the leadership, dedication, and steady guidance he brings to our school each day. His words of wisdom continually inspire our staff and students, helping us grow, stay grounded, and strive for excellence. Our students colored pictures of Mr. Calkins with some common sayings he is known for and surprised him this morning when he got to work. Thank you for all your words of wisdom Mr. Calkins! 6th grade had to research food nutrition and got to share a recipe with the class. They did a great job sharing parts of their family traditions and cultures through food, exploring healthy food options, and it was a mini-Friendsgiving!
