8th Grade Ag students got to make some homemade ice cream by hand using baggies as we finished up our Dairy Unit. They said it was pretty good even though there hands were cold!

LMS Staff of the Month is Jessica Simshauser. Jessica has worked for USD 215 for 10 years. She continues to be an amazing LMS Secretary, filling in where needed, going above and beyond, and helping with The Stampede. She continues to be a great addition to our School District.

LMS Students of the Month: Kamry Michaelis and Blake Vasquez. These kids have shown great Leadership Skills and completed Acts of Kindness in and out of the classroom. If you see them congratulate them on doing amazing things at LMS.

FFA traveled to GCCC to compete in Horse Evaluation and Welding. Had a great group of students today. We won’t know results until tomorrow.




Horticulture class was able to get some hands on learning by dissecting some flowers yesterday to learn more about how flowers work to make seeds.



S/o to Mr. Taylor Lovelady for being LHS Staff of the month. He has worked at LHS for 6 years. He has shown great Leadership in our buildings as well as helps out when/where needed. He continues to be a great asset to the LHS Coaching staff helping with Basketball and Baseball.

LHS Students of the Month are: Edan White and Katy Mitchell. Edan is a Senior at LHS with plans to attend Northwest Tech and pursue an Ag degree. Katy is a Junior at LHS and wants to be a Teacher. These students have shown great Leadership and Positivity here at LHS.
