Horticulture students are helping get the community garden beds ready. We added the topsoil today to the raised beds. If anyone in the community is interested in having a bed please let us know.
Moriah Oritz, Sophomore here at Lakin, had a big night last night with a total of 25 strikeouts against Hugoton to help lead the Lady Broncs to a win in both games.
Lady Broncs defeat Hugoton in both games last night. To see how much improvement they have acquired this year is amazing. They will be in action again Thursday night at home against Holcomb for Senior Night. JV will start at 2:00pm. Hope to see you there.

The greenhouse will be open this Wednesday from 5:00-6:30 and Saturday from 7:30-10:00 or until all plants are sold. Hanging baskets (Vincas, Impatients or Petunias), bell peppers, Impatients , Petunias, Succulents, Dusty Miller, & Zinnias are what I have left.
