I apologize for the confusion on this as we have been working to define what we can do with respect to an after-school program and how best to do it. We will start next week, Monday 3/27. It will be housed at the Lakin Middle School, we will start every day in the commons area. It will be ran everyday from 3:30-5:30 Monday through Thursday. If we don't have school a certain day we won't have the after school program. Transportation, via school buses, will be provided for our K-4 kids to the Lakin Middle School. If you have multiple students that will attend, you will need to fill out a form for each one. Please fill out the enrollment and additional questions below. This will be free to the K-6 students. We are working on what snacks each day will look like. We have had a gracious contributor in Lakin Dairy who has agreed to donate some funds for products. If you are willing to be a volunteer or donate or if you have general questions about the program, please reach out to Lakin Middle School 620-355-6973.

1st Grade made their own crayons today after reading the books "The Day the Crayons Came Home" and " The Day The Crayons Quit" in Art Class.
3rd Grade is learning about Jackson Pollock so we made our own splatter paintings today in Art Class!
