Mrs Hill's class practiced their communication skills by making phone calls to landlords to inquire about apartments. Then they called Midwest Energy , the City of Lakin Administrative Center, and Pioneer Communications, for information on utility set-ups and deposits.










Real life skills! Mrs Wright's Plant & Soil Science classes are partaking in a big class project and learning how to start a yard. Once the tilling and removal of dead debris the students will plant the grass. It's looking great! #getBETTER #broncs








LHS Staff is hosting the Tailgate tomorrow Oct. 6. Please come out and support and get a nice meal. It will be free will donation. We will also have Hauling Axes, a Bouncy House, and a HS Signed Football Raffle. Starting at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there.

Students had to rate the defect in the milk, identify cheese and its characteristics, take a test, discover natural vs imitation dairy, and identify dairy and non-dairy products and its fat content.

Oct. 13 there will be a Drawing for A Roll of Strip Steaks. This event is going towards a great cause to help a Family Battling Cancer in our Community. You can contact Jennifer Groth or Rykki Bemis for tickets.

PINK NIGHT OCT. 10. Come and support the LHS Volleyball along with our Seniors.
This is also an amazing time to raise awareness and honor Cancer Survivors, currently going through, and those that have lost their lives.
All proceeds will go to help families in our Community.

Students recorded a short skit using spanish greetings, farewells and basic conversation questions. Each group was assigned a different scenario such as bumping into a friend in public, a late night phone call, or meeting a new boss.
