LHS loves to show our support for those in the community because we receive so much support from everyone. We are selling these shirts for a great cause! All proceeds made will go towards the family and you can wear them for our Blue Night on Oct. 13. Get "Behind" the cure.
Taking 5th as a team at a super hard Canon City meet was a big win for Lakin XC! Austin Ritsma took second with a crazy fast time on such a hard course 16:16!

The MS Football team took their first loss of the season last night at Southwestern Heights, losing 22-20 in OT. They battled hard for the entire game and we are proud of the effort. We will come back stronger because of this loss. Thank you for all who made the trip down to support us, it is greatly appreciated. Also a big thank you to the parents who fed us after the game!! Next action for the Broncs will be at home next Thursday vs Stanton County.
Plant & Soil Science classes have been learning about soils for the past couple of weeks. They are discovering different structures of soil and how structures and porosity affect water holding capacity and permeability of soils.

First day of Flex for Mrs Hill's classes called for a class building activity. Cup stacking with one hand, and a rubber band.

Science and Art! 5th grade learned about scaling the solar system yesterday and Mrs. Conrady taught us about scaling in art.
One of my favorite days in math class is when we play VICTORY to practice adding and subtracting integers! This is a fun group of kiddos!!
