We started Sequences & Series in Algebra 2 by playing Seven Flipped.
And in Calculus we did a practical application of Related Rates by eating suckers.
We used a store-bought air cannon, and one we made in class, to make vortex rings in Physics.

Congratulations to these 5th graders for being the top 5 in our IXL Sunflower State Sprint. Together they answered over 9,000 math questions in the month of February and got to celebrate with ice cream at Flashbacks!
Red Coat Day happened with LMS 5th graders this week! Students had to follow along and pay their taxes or the mean Red Coats would make them pay up! It is always such a fun day and helps the students understand how the colonists felt prior to the American Revolution.
The Buddy Bench at the MS has received some much needed love and care by one of our very own students. Thank you Jalyssa for your improvements! Look at the pictures for a before and after.
Congratulations to Kenzi Wilson, Emerson Hansen, Jara Davidson, Alli Mead, and Maggie Gannett!!! They are the LHS recipients of the GCCC High School Dual Credit Scholarship. Money received will be used towards the classes they are currently taking through GCCC.

The LMS Quiz Bowl season has come to an end. A team went 5-1 taking second place at the league meet. B team was 2-4 and finished with a really strong win.

A&P students studied the anatomy of a muscle by making 3D muscle models. We are thankful that flex days give us the time to do problem based learning activities.
