We finished our Scholars Bowl season in Scott City tonight. We did well, but we did not qualify for State. We will miss our Seniors Kannon and Zael, but our future is bright!

What a great day for LMS Quiz Bowl! They took two teams to Syracuse today, Team 1 brought home 2nd place, and Team 2 had an awesome showing with a 6–3 record. So proud of all their hard work! Way to represent LMS! Go Broncs! 💜💛

The winter Olympic have come to LMS. 6th graders have researched events and athletes, built and raced alpine skiers, created figure skating stop motion movies, and had a curling tournament. They are ready to support Team USA!

*Forensics Meet Results Correction*
There was a correction to the results from last week's Forensics Meet at Garden City. Camden Bergkamp and Zael Bermudez ALSO qualified for State Championships with their 2nd Place finish in Duet Acting. Congratulations to these two students!!!!

We are excited to recognize Mrs. Pollart for being named Employee of the Month for January! Her excellence in the classroom shines through every day as she motivates students, leads by example, and communicates with care and purpose. Mrs. Pollart’s creativity, dedication, and commitment make a lasting impact on our school and beyond. Thank you for your leadership and for all you do to support our students and staff.

Even with unforeseen circumstances thrown their way, the LHS Band still rocked it tonight. Lakin is proud of each and every one of you! It’s always a great day to be a Bronc! 💜🎶

Both boys teams finished the year with a win. B team boys finished in 3rd place with a win over Elkhart 40-18. A team boys win over Syracuse 47-33 and are your A team boys HPL Champions! Congrats to this team and thanks to everyone who supported these boys this season.

Today is the day!!!! Flashbacks Diner, located at 210 W. Santa Fe Trl Blvd in Lakin, will be donating 25% of all sales to the LHS Forensics Club. Whether it is a cold drink, milkshake, hamburger, or even a chicken strip basket, any support is greatly appreciated!
Proceeds will be used to help with rising expenses and material costs due to having a much larger Forensics Team than usual. Huge "Thank You" to Flashbacks for their continued support of USD 215 Lakin and The Stampede!

NEEDED: tricycles and small bicycles for LGS PE. If you are willing to loan or donate them, we would appreciate it. These are for preschool through first grade sized kids. 🚲
