LHS A&P and JAG students attended the Southwest Kansas Career Showcase in Garden City on Thursday. Students were exposed to multiple careers in the health care field and gained valuable information from local businesses, colleges, and industry leaders.
Middle School FCA had their Christmas in February party last night! We were too busy playing games to take many pictures. Thank you Papa John’s for helping us out with the pizza! We ended the evening watching Prince of Egypt. If there are any middle school students interested in learning more about FCA, talk to Ms. Calkins!

Lady Broncs all take the win against Elkhart tonight. They will be back in action Tuesday night for Throwback Night at the HS. Sammie Vogel with the "Giddy Up" award for her performance in tonight's game. Way to go girls!🏀

LHS Basketball @ Elkhart | Friday, February 9th
LHS Biology classes are working on a mitosis choice board. They had the option to make a song, a diagram, a webquest, or an acrostic poem to present in front of class next week.
At an awards assembly Tuesday morning, Jacy Holloway hands out awards certificates and gift cards to students from each high school class for honor roll and attendance. Out of 197 students, 159 made one of the honor rolls; 16 had perfect attendance fall semester, and 88 had no tardies to any class. Participating sponsors were Broncs Brew, Shiver Shack, Cottonwood Coffeehouse, Wagon Wheel and Flashbacks.
Members of the senior class show their school spirit in a class competition during the Tuesday homecoming rally. The seniors won the spirit stick as the most enthusiastic group.
Reagan Chavira hits her chair with full force as she completes a musical chairs scavenger hunt competition, earning points for her senior class. Two class representatives were given items to locate in the gym and make it back to the chairs without being the last one there.
FFA competed in Ag Tech & Mechanical Systems today. Students took part in electrical, tool identification, a written exam, wire welding, & Ag Tech Systems.
