The high school theater production of the musical "The Addams Family" next week, Nov. 10-12.
The show will run Thursday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. In this version, which opened on Broadway in 2009, Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a very nice and smart young man from a normal, respectable sweet, smart young man but his parents have never met the Addams family. Wednesday begs her father Gomez to keep the engagement a secret from her mother, Morticia. Gomez agrees, but all kinds of wacky and weird things happen when they host a dinner party for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.
The cast stars a number of high school veteran actors, as well as newcomers and younger students from both the high school and middle school.
Tickets for school staff members and students is $5, while general admission is $10.
