The baseball squad travelled to Holcomb last Thursday, dropping both games by identical 10-0 scores.
In the first game, Lakin had seven hits, with two coming from Jace Bachman.
Bachman started the game, giving up four hits and four runs (three earned), while striking out five. He also threw 75 pitches.
In the second game, the Broncs gave up four runs in the second inning and five in the third.
Holcomb out-hit Lakin 10-1, and the Broncs committed seven errors.
Bachman was 1-for-2 at the plate.
Allen Martinez started the game, giving up all 10 hits. Only five of the runs were earned. He struck out three and walked just one.
The Broncs fall to 9-8.
