Lakin seniors Dom Daniels and Hunter Davis both signed letters Wednesday to play basketball at Tabor College in Hillsboro next year. The signing ceremony was held in front of students, staff, family and coaches. Davis, who plans to major in coaching, said he chose to play for the Bluejays "because it is where I felt most at home." Davis said he likes the college's basketball program because it reminds him of Lakin's, that of a high-paced but fun game. Daniels plans to major in exercise science/kinesiology. "I loved the atmosphere and campus, and I know a lot of friends that are attending this college," Daniels said. The basketball program is process-focused, he said, adding that a lot of players are returning, which says a great deal about the program.
