Football stumbles at Syracuse

The football Broncs looked to pick up their first win of the season at Syracuse Friday.
Instead, they saw their record fall to 0-2 as they dropped a 13-0 decision at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Syracuse got on the board in the first quarter with an interception for a touchdown. They scored again in the final quarter on a 42-yard run.
Lakin ran 74 plays from scrimmage to Syracuse’s 41, outgunning the Bulldogs 93 yards to 69.
The Broncs were flagged for 15 penalties for 92 yards, while Syracuse had six penalties for 37 yards.
Reed Bemis was 4-of-17 passing for 17 yards. Avery Manzano had two catches for nine yards.
Cole Larkan had 11 carries for 38 yards. Bemis had eight carries for 16 yards.
Emanuel Valle had six tackles, including three for loss. Cage Line had four tackles and three assists.
Josiahas Gonzales and Devin Wozencraft each had a fumble recovery. Brayden Ansel had one interception.
