Cross country sweeps at Greeley County

Both the boys and girls cross country teams won the Greeley County meet Saturday.
The boys took three of the top four spots to win the meet with 31 points.
The girls placed four runners in the top 10 to win with 16 points.
For the boys, Miles Delgado won the 5K title, running 17:51.67. Gavin Dyas was third (18:18.97) and Josiah Sholtz fourth (18:52.93).
Brantley Martin placed 12th, Clark Maddux 13th, Blake Vasquez 19th and Tyler Johnson 26th.
Kate Miller won the girls title, running 20:11.11. Jeci Mead was second (21:02.96), Tess Barnhardt seventh (24:11.96) and Emma Miller ninth (24:37.03).
Claire Barnhardt was 11th, Honey Murillo 12th and Tynslee Wideman 13th.
For the eighth grade boys, Jonathan Gannett placed first in 11:35.49. Luke Miller was third, Kingston Guerrero was sixth and Troy Hamm 21st.
Owen Maddux placed 16th for seventh grade boys.
Joleigh Lohman-Fuller placed fifth in eighth grade girls.
