Volleyball goes 2-1 in season opener

The volleyball season got underway with a home meet Tuesday, taking down Colby and Ulysses but losing to Holcomb.
The Broncs defeated Colby25-18 and 27-25.
Lakin served up eight aces in that match, three from Taybree Lohman-Fuller.
Aryn Michaelis had eight kills and 10 digs, and Taegan Oldham had 11 assists and 11 digs.
Lakin lost to Holcomb 25-15 and 25-20.
No aces occurred for the Broncs in that match. Oldham had 10 assists and nine digs. Michaelis had 10 digs.
The Broncs defeated Ulysses 2-0. No stats were available.
