Girls win league track

The girls track team competed in the HPL meet in Syracuse Friday.
Aryn Michaelis led the way for the girls’ title, winning four events. Kate Miller had two titles.
The girls won the team title with 167 points. Stanton County was runner-up with 118 points.
Michaelis claimed three titles in field events. She cleared 5-2 to win the high jump, 17-8 to win the long jump, and 37-2.5 to win the triple jump.
Michaelis then went on to win her fourth title, taking the 100m hurdles in 15.27. Jordan McCombs was third (17.35) and Honey Murillo fifth (17.61).
Kate Miller took the title in the 1600m run, clocking in at 5:36.24. Miller also won the 3200m in 13:0747. She finished second in the 800m (2:41.71).
Emma Miller was second in the 800m (2:53.57), third in the 3200m (14:25.39) and fourth in the 1600m (6:32.10).
Amari Esquibel placed second in the 100m dash, running 12.74 seconds. She was fourth in the 200m (27.00).
Sydny Holloway was third in the 300m hurdles, running 51.82. Murillo was fifth (53.16).
Taegan Oldham placed second in the javelin, throwing 111-11.
Chloe Stahlecker was second in the high jump (4-8). Atalissa Bradford was fifth in the pole vault (7-6). Maleigha Budd finished fourth in the triple jump (33-5) and fifth in the long jump (14-11.5). Isabella VanDerKnaap was fifth in the triple jump (31-9).
Marisa Aller was third in the shot put, going 30-3.75. She was sixth in the discus (82-11).
Aubrie Yakel placed third in the disc, throwing 91-4. She was sixth in the shot put (27-2.5) and in the javelin (91-10).
The 4x100 relay of Clarie Barnhardt, Re-cie Dixon, Esquibel and McCombs finished second in 51.62 seconds.
The 4x400 relay of Esquibel, Holloway, McCombs and VanDerKnaap finished third in 5:01.82.
