Golfers third in Elkhart

The golf team fared well Tuesday in Elkhart as they finished third, just one stroke out of second.
It was the warm up meet for Friday’s league meet.
The Broncs scored 337 strokes, just one shot behind host Elkhart. Syracuse won the meet at 321.
Brock Keller of Syracuse won the meet with a 75 (+3). Charlie Keller Syracuse was one stroke behind.
Zavian Richter, Brayson Hoover and Brennen Bless finished fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.
Richter and Hoover shot 82 (+10_ and Bless finished at 84.
Manny Gonzales shot a personal best score of 89.
Bryan Contreras shot 101 and Peyton Odom 102.
The HPL meet is Friday at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City.
Sub-state will be in Colby May 18.
