Golfers fifth at Stanton Co.

The golf team finished fifth at a tournament in Johnson Friday.
The Broncs scored 354 strokes, just two behind Greeley County.
South Gray won the meet with 300 strokes.
Brayson Hoover led the Broncs with an 81, finishing 11th. Winning score was Gavin Wahl of South Gray with a 63 (-7).
Zavian Richter finished 19th with an 87. Manny Gonzalez shot 90, and Brennen Bless and Peyton Odom both shot 96.
Bryan Contreras shot 107.
Next up for the Broncs is Elkhart May 12, followed by the HPL meet at Buffalo Dunes May 14.
The sub-state meet is set for May 18 at Colby.
