Boys fourth at home track

The Lakin boys finished fourth at their home meet Friday.
The boys finished with 78 points in the 10-team field. Hugoton won with 105 points.
Quincy Esquibel took gold in two events. He won the 110m hurdles in 15.19 seconds and he won the long jump, clearing 22-7.75. He was fourth in the triple jump (43-1).
Jesse Lancaster took the pole vault, clearing 13-0.
First place also went to Zael Bermudez in the 3200m. He ran that race in 9:55.96.
Third place went to Camden Bergkamp in the 1600m (4:50.47). He also finished fourth in the 3200m in 10:37.81.
Adriel Clymer was fourth in the high jump (5-10). Cole Larkan finished fifth in the 200m (23.74 seconds), and Cage Line finished fifth in the shot put (45-11).
Finishing sixth were Aydyn Holloway in the triple jump (40-1.25), Norian Cantu in the shot put (42-5.5) and Owen Ostberg in the discus (114-11). Gavin Dyas was sixth in the 3200m (10:45.49).
The 4x100 relay of Esquibel, Clymer, Lancaster and Holloway finished third (44.30).
The 4x800 relay of Bergkamp, Bermudez, Josiah Sholtz and Dyas finished third in 8:46.22.
