Boys finish fourth in Holcomb

The boys track and field team finished fourth at the Holcomb Invite Friday.
Holcomb won the meet with 116 points. Lakin was fourth with 52 points in the 11-team field.
Jesse Lancaster took the pole vault title, clearing 12-6. Cade Berning finished tied for sixth at 11-6.
Quincy Esquibel finished second in the long jump (21-0.75) and in the triple jump (42-9.25). He also finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.25 seconds).
Adriel Clymer finished fifth in the high jump (5-8). Cage Line was fifth in the shot put (41-9.75).
Camden Bergkamp was fifth in the 1600-meters (4:58.05). He finished third in the 3200-meters (11:03.20). Gavin Dyas was fifth in that race (11:04.04). Cole Larkan placed fifth in the 200-meters (22.96 seconds).
The 4x800 relay team (Dyas, Josiah Sholtz, Bergkamp and Blake Walker) finished fifth, running 9:00.70.
