Girls first at Holcomb track

The girls track and field team placed first at the Holcomb Invite Friday.
The team scored 95 to overcome runner-up Goodland, who finished with 83.5 points in the 11-team field.
Aryn Michaelis continued her spring dominance, taking home three more gold medals.
The junior won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.64 seconds. She also took the high jump title, clearing 5-2, and the triple jump, soaring 37-9.
Kate Miller was a double winner. She took the 1600-meters in 5:56.83, followed by the 800-meters in 2:29.82.
Amari Esquibel finished fourth in the 100-meters (12.74 seconds) and in the 200-meters (26.63). Sydny Holloway was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (53.46).
Emma Miller won the 3200-meters, clocking in at 13:12.70. She finished second in the 1600-meters (6:10.65).
Jordan McCombs was third in the 100-meter hurdles (17.41). Marissa Aller placed fifth in the discus (87-8) and sixth in the shot put (32-6.25).
The 4x100 relay (McCombs, Michaelis, Claire Barnhardt and Esquibel) finished third in 51.40 seconds.
The 4x400 relay (Barnhardt, Holloway, Kate Miller and McCombs) finished fifth in 4:33.55.
