Girls track second in Scott City

The Lakin girls finished second in a 14-team field at the Scott City Relays Tuesday.
The Broncs scored 54 points, second behind Scott City’s 72.
Aryn Michaelis picked up three of Lakin’s individual wins.
Michaelis won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.45 seconds. Jordan McCombs was fifth (17.27).
She won the triple jump, going 36-3.75. She cleared 5-4 to win the high jump
Kate Miller picked up a win in the 3200-meters, running 12:30.54. Emma Miller was fourth in (13:44.93).
Kate Miller finished second in the 1600-meters, clocking in at 5:30.92.
Marissa Aller finished sixth in the shot put, throwing 31-10.5.
The 4x100 relay team of McCombs, Michaelis, Claire Barnhardt and Amari Esquibel finished fourth in 51.27 seconds.
