Track sweep at Cimarron

The track teams competed in Cimarron Friday under cold, cloudy conditions.
The boys scored 217 points to win the four-team field. Garden City High School was runner-up with 128 points. Cimarron was third with 116 and Fellowship Baptist Academy scored 47.
The girls won with 213.5 points, followed by Cimarron with 138, Garden City with 111.5 and Fellowship Baptist with two.

Quincy Esquibel won two titles, taking the 110-meter hurdles in 15.67 seconds. He won the long jump, going 19-7. He finished second in the triple jump (40-1).
Zael Bermudez won the 3200-meters in 10:58.61. Gavin Dyas finished second (11:11.13).
Jesse Lancaster won the pole vault, clearing 12-6. Cade Berning was second (10-6) and Bermudez third (9-6).
Cole Larkan was second in the 100-meters (11.66) and 200-meters (24.02).
Camden Bergkamp finished second in the 800-meters (2:23.55). Jesse Peregrino was second (2:34.22).
Adriel Clymer was second in the high jump (5-6). Adyn Holloway was second in the long jump (19-0). Owen Ostberg finished second in the discus (126-8.5) and Cage Line was second in the shot put (41-6).
Third places went to Josiah Sholtz in the 400-meters (59.37), Bergkamp in the 1600-meters (5:16.36), Wozenkraft in the discus (117-0) and Norian Cantu in the shot put (39-4.25).
Finishing fourth were Kannon Woodrow in the 1600-meters (5:23.59) and Miguel Rosales in the javelin (108-3).
The 4x1 relay team finished first (45.77), and the 4x4 (3:55.54) and 4x8 (9:06.34) finished second.
Girls results
Aryn Michaelis led the girls with three individual wins.
Michaels won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.44 seconds. She cleared the high jump in 5-0, and she won the triple jump (36.5.75).
Amari Esquibel won the 100-meters in 13.20 seconds. Kate Miller won the 3200-meters in 12:53.42. Honey Murillo won the 300-meter hurdles in 56.82 seconds.
Taegan Oldham won the javelin, throwing 93-6. Marissa Aller won the shot put, throwing 31-2.5.
Finishing second on the track were Claire Barnhardt in the 200-meters (29.43), Miller in the 800-meters (2:32.59), Emma Miller in the 3200-meters (13:09.27), Jordan McCombs in the 100-meter hurdles (17.78) and Sydny Holloway in the 300-meter hurdles (1:00.13).
Finishing second in field events were Maleigha Budd in the triple jump (31-9.5), and Aller in the discus (98-4),
Third places went to Holloway in the 100-meter hurdles (18.70), Abby Holmes in the 1600-meters (6:55.10),and Aubrie Yakel in the discus (91-8), shot put (26-2) and javelin (80-8).
The 4x4800 relay won in 13:45.69. The 4x100 relay (53.73) and 4x400 (4:53.75) finished second.
