Girls defeat Indians to claim league title

The girls basketball team got through the league season undefeated after taking down Wichita County 51-38 at home Thursday.
The Broncs led 15-10 after one quarter and 32-21 by halftime.
Lakin converted 36 percent from the floor, while the Indians made just 24 percent.
Lakin won the rebounds, 46-28, including 23 offensive, leading to a 17-3 edge on second-chance points.
Lileah Villa and Aryn Michaelis both had 14 points.
Michaelis had nine rebounds and six steals, and Villa had seven and four.
Villa and Jordan McCombs both had four assists.
Lakin finished 10-0 against league schools, including 3-0 in the HPL tournament.
