Girls tame Tigers

The Lakin girls made it a 3-0 week by taking down Ulysses 52-30 at home Saturday.
The Broncs led 10-5 after one period and 30-16 at halftime. They outscored the Tigers 22-14 in the second half to raise their record to 12-3.
It was Lakin’s seventh win in a row.
The Broncs shot 33 percent from the floor while holding Ulysses to just 21 percent.
Thirty turnovers by Ulysses led to 23 of Lakin’s points.
Lakin won the rebounds, 37-31.
Aryn Michaelis had 12 points to lead the Lakin scoring. Taybree Lohman-Fuller had 10.
Michaelis had 11 rebounds. Jordan McCombs had six steals and Lileah Villa had four assists.
