Boys fight to hard-fought win

The Lakin boys found the road a bit tough Friday night, holding off Cimarron 50-47.
Lakin trailed 11-9 after one quarter but took a 26-21 lead at halftime.
Cimarron got to within three points in the third and took a 44-43 lead early in the fourth before Lakin came back with a 7-4 run to end the game.
Lakin shot 40 percent from the floor (20 of 50), including four 3-pointers.
Cimarron was 14 of 45 from the floor but converted 16 of 24 free throws to keep the game close. Lakin was 6 of 10 from the line.
The Bluejays won the rebound battle, 36-22.
Aydyn Holloway led the Broncs with 16 points. Flo Canac had 15 and Jesse Peregrino 15.
Canac, Holloway and Cage Line each had four rebounds. Canac had six assists and Miguel Marquez had three steals.
