Girls take down Cimarron

The Lakin girls had little trouble in taking out Cimarron on the road Friday, 53-20.
After taking a 17-10 lead after one period, the Broncs outscored the Bluejays 36-10 the rest of the way.
The Broncs shot just 25 percent from the floor (17 of 67), but they were 19 of 21 from the free throw line.
Cimarron committed 37 turnovers, which Lakin converted into 30 points.
The Broncs won the rebounding, 45-28.
Aryn Michaelis led Lakin with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Amari Esquibel had five assists and five steals.
