Holcomb girls take down Broncs

The Holcomb girls came into the Broncs gym Tuesday and dominated Lakin 54-26.
Holcomb scored 16 points in each of the first three quarters. They led 16-7 after one quarter and 32-11 by halftime.
Lakin converted just 27 percent of their shots (10 of 37), while the Longhorns hit for 40 percent, including seven from 3-point range.
Lakin committed 20 turnovers, leading to 25 Holcomb points.
The Longhorns won the rebounds, 30-24.
Kate Miller led the Broncs with seven points and six rebounds.
