Boys dominate Syracuse

The boys overcame a comeback attempt to take down Syracuse 65-32 on the road Monday in a game delayed by weather for three days.
Lakin led 32-21 at halftime, but Syracuse cut into that lead with a 22-16 third period before the Broncs finished the job.
Lakin converted 43 percent from the floor (21 of 39 from 2-point range), including five 3-pointers.
Syracuse shot 41 percent (16 of 36 from 2-point range), also converting five 3-pointers and two more free throws than Lakin.
Lakin out-rebounded the Bulldogs 37-26.
Flo Canac led the Broncs with 22 points, and Jesse Peregrino added 17.
Aydyn Holloway had nine rebounds, and Canac had eight steals and three assists.
