Boys fall to Dodge City

The Lakin boys ended the December arm of the season with a 62-49 loss at Dodge City Friday.
Lakin trailed 20-18 after one quarter, 36-29 by halftime, and 46-37 after three periods.
Both teams struggled with shooting, as Lakin hit 35 percent and Dodge City 33 percent of their shots.
Lakin was 5 off 25 from 3-point range and the Red Demons were 9 off 35.
Dodge City won the rebounds, 35=33. The Broncs committed 16 turnovers to Dodge City’s 11.
Flo Canac led the Broncs with 20 points
Aydyn Holloway, Jessie Peregrino and Norian Cantu each added seven points.
Holloway had 11 rebounds and Cage Line seven.
Lakin heads into the holiday break 2-4. They will next play Jan. 6 at home against Garden City.
