Girls dominate at Sublette

The girls basketball team won its third straight game Tuesday, getting a 64-12 win at Sublette.
Lakin shut out the Larks 24-0 in the opening quarter and led 44-3 at halftime as they cruised to the win.
The Broncs converted 44 percent from the floor, including 2 of 4 front behind the arc. They were also 14 of 18 from the free throw line.
Sublette made just four shots all game, all from behind the arc.
Lakin forced 35 Larks’ turnovers, scoring 41 points from those. They committed just 11 turnovers.
The Broncs won the rebounding, 31-18.
Aryn Michaelis and Amari Esquibel both had 12 points to lead the scoring. Michaelis had seven rebounds.
Lileah Villa had nine assists and eight steals.
Lakin improved to 4-1 with the win.
