Wrestlers compete in Ulysses

The Lakin boys finished ninth as a team at the 62nd Annual Ron Smith Invitational wrestling tournament in Ulysses Saturday.
The Broncs scored 36.5 points in the 12-team field.
Top wrestler for Lakin was Gavin Dyas at JV 120-126 pounds. He went 3-0 in his round robin, all by falls.
Tyler Johnson placed third at 106. He went 2-2, with both wins by fall.
Eliez Rameriz went 1-3 to place fourth at 113.
Camden Bergkamp went 3-1 at 165 to place fourth.
Zael Bermudez placed fifth at 126, Weston Loeppke was fifth at 190, Rommel Rodriguez was sixth at 120, James Kiesel seventh at 157, and Santiago Montes ninth at 126.
