Girls pick up opening win

The Broncs opened the girls season with a convincing 63-46 win at home over Wallace County Friday.
Lakin jumped out to a. 22-6 lead after one quarter en route to the victory.
The Broncs converted 42 percent of their shots, including three 3-pointers.
The defense forced 28 turnovers, from which they scored 28 of their points.
Leading scorer was Aryn Michaelis with 19 points, followed by Lileah Villa with 16. Both had four steals.
Michaelis had nine rebounds and Taybree Lohman-Fuller added seven.
Jordan McCombs had four assists and Villa three.
Villa and Michaelis each had four steals.
