JV wrestling competes in Goodland

The JV wrestlers opened their season Saturday in Goodland.
Tyler Johnson led the Broncs with a title at 106 pounds, finishing 4-0 in the round robin.
Johnson won all four matches by fall, ranging from 21 seconds to 5:12.
Eliez Ramirez finished second at 113 pounds. He won his opening matches by fall (:53 and 1:14) before losing a 7-1 decision.
James Kiesel went 2-2 to finish third at 157 pounds. His two wins were by fall (3:34 and 1:17).
Gavin Dyas, Rommel Rodriguez and Santiago Montes all finished fourth.
Dyas went 2-3 at 126 pounds.
Rodriguez went 1-3 at 120A and Montes 1-2 at 120C.
