Football ends season

The football season came to an end Friday with a 50-0 loss in Beloit Friday.
Beliot led 8-0 after one quarter and scored 30 more in the second to cruise to the win in round one of the playoffs.
Beloit scored twice on big plays, a 55-yard run in the first quarter and a 39-yard pass play in the second.
Four of their scores came on runs between one and three yards. The final score was a 15-yard run.
Beloit had 362 total yards to Lakin’s 116.
They also had 17 first downs to Lakin’s seven.
The Broncs turned over the ball four times, while Beloit did it twice.
Eli Bemis led the Broncs with 72 rushing yards on 18 carries. Alex Robles had 40 yards on six carries.
Cade Berning led the team with five solo tackles. Bode Bachman and Bemis both were in on eight tackles.
Bachman had a fumble recovery.
Lakin ends the season at 3-6.
